%X In this paper we propose an analysis of the legitimacy of medieval imperial power in the twelfth century. That legitimacy is studied in its political, legal and military aspects and is inserted in the Doctrine of Just War. Besides, we will conjoin all this work with the military structures of the imperial host, the most important tool of politics in the Holy Roman Empire.
