%0 Journal Article %T Hablar y callar, o del poder y la iatrogenia en un imaginario sociocultural %A Marcos-Agust¨ªn Cueva-Per¨²s %J Bolet¨ªn Cient¨ªfico Sapiens Research %D 2012 %I Sapiens Research Group %X From a theoretical perspective, simultaneously psychoanalytic and so-ciological, this article shows the risks of an inequality in the relation therapist - patient, when the first one exercises power for having con-fused rolls and status. If it does not take distance, opposite to the cul-tural imaginary, with this power the therapist can give the second blow that aggravates a suffering and come to a practice lacking in listening. This is a latent risk in a culture as the Mexican one, which with great frequency moves to the above-mentioned confusion and to the supremacy of the status on the roll.
