%0 Journal Article %T Corporate Government Strategy Development: A Case Study %A Ali M. Al-Khouri %J Business Management Dynamics %D 2012 %I Society for Business and Management Dynamics %X In this article, we present a case study of one the successful government organisation strategy development exercises in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The 2010-2013 strategy of Emirates Identity Authority (Emirates ID) supported organisational development and allowed the Emirates ID to become a pioneer in its field of practice. Its strategy was among the reasons behind its selection and winning the Best Federal Authority Award in the 2012 UAE's federal Government Excellence Programme. This article attempts to describe the principles on which the organisational strategy was developed. It also outlines major accomplishments and the strategy's impact on overall organisational performance.
