%X The article, basing on a wide range of document data and scientific literature, examines the expulsion of scientists from Odessa, which was part of the campaign on dissident intellectuals¡¯ expulsion in 1922, memorized as ¡°The Philosophy Steamer¡±. The determination of the degree of problem examination in the history showed that this theme wasn¡¯t analyzed by Ukrainian and Russian historiography thoroughly. The previous publications contained only separate details of the campaign and the names of only few of the scientists were mentioned, which didn¡¯t provide the full picture of the events. The article presents the previously unknown facts, introduces the forgotten names of the scientists and their fates for scientific use
