%X La pol赤tica centralizadora justinianea en materia religiosa no s車lo tuvo un fuerte impacto en la constituci車n de la Iglesia bizantina, sino que adem芍s afect車 la manera en que los grupos religiosos disidentes, en particular los monofisitas, percibieron su relaci車n con la monarqu赤a cristiana. En este trabajo abordaremos algunos episodios de la Historia eclesi芍stica del obispo monofisita Juan de 谷feso. Estos episodios reflejan una transformaci車n en el status jur赤dico de los obispos monofisitas que se encuentra en relaci車n con la reconfiguraci車n de la autoridad episcopal y de la percepci車n de la disidencia religiosa en la legislaci車n del siglo VI. Justinian's centralizing religious policy had a strong impact not only on the formation of the Byzantine Church, but also affected the way i which dissident religious groups, particularly the Monophysites, perceived their relationship with the Christian monarchy. This paper analyzes some episodes of the Ecclesiastical History of the Monophysite bishop John of Ephesus. These episodes reflect the shift in the legal status of the Monophysite bishops related to the transformation of the definition of episcopal authority and perception of religious dissent in the legislation of the sixth century.
