%X El art赤culo presenta un ordenado recuento de los g谷neros de la ret車rica bizantina y expone las caracter赤sticas principales de cada uno de ellos, analizando con mayor detenimiento el de los denominados "Espejos de Pr赤ncipe". El estudio, respetando las debidas denominaciones epistemol車gicas en lengua griega, muestra c車mo las composiciones paren谷ticas bizantinas de este g谷nero se vinculan, hist車rica y filol車gicamente, con la tradici車n ret車rica antigua de Is車crates. This article presents an orderly account of the genres of Byzantine rhetoric and exposes the main features of each, looking more closely at the so-called "mirror of princes." The study, in accordance with due epistemological Greek names, shows how Byzantine parenetic compositions of this kind are related, historical and philological, with the ancient rhetorical tradition of Isocrates.
