The experimental site comprises a series of ve experimental plots with re- quired stocking densities resulting from a series of regeneration-cutting interven- tions in years 1989 and 2004. The changed ecological conditions signi cantly in- uenced production of the studied taxon. The highest values were recorded before the cutting in 2004: 795 kg.ha 1 of above-ground biomass in the summer aspect 1994, and 1901 kg.ha 1 of belowground biomass in the autumnal aspect of the same year. Both the values were obtained on the clear-cut plot. The lowest production values were on the plot with stocking densities of 0.5 (1989) and 0.3 (2004): 4 kg.ha 1 of above-ground and 5 kg.ha 1 of belowground biomass. %K Carex pilosa %K beech forests %K biomass production %U http://www.mendelu.cz/dok_server/slozka.pl?id=57761;download=71624
