From the review of existing literature, it is notable that the impact of leadership and organisational culture on the performance of organisations is significant either positively or negatively and therefore essential factors in ensuring a reformed and more efficient public sector, especially in developing countries. This paper looks at the general discussions on leadership and organisational culture narrowed down to the Ghanaian context. Furthermore, the relationship between transformational leadership and organisational culture and their relevance in public sector organisations in Ghana are touched on.
