The structural and surface propertiesof the carbon were characterized by Nitrogen adsorption isotherm at 77 oK. It was found that the carbon is largelymicroporous with a surface area of approximately 860 m2/g. Adsorption test shows the carbon is able to achieve a methanestorage capacity of approximately 70/cc. %K Activated Carbon %K Methane Storage %U http://www.applied-science-innovations.com/cst-web-site/cst-vol1-issue1/CST-12.pdf
