As a Portuguese writer and poet who has long resided in Macau, his religiosity encompasses both the western and oriental Catholic culture. For this reason, the poems analysed reveal a watchful eye, always open to questioning and reflecting on historical-social events, the universal questions of human life and Nature, revealing a profound religious sensibility. Furthermore, his concept of freedom is framed by a western and oriental perspective, as it represents metaphorically the sense of freedom that is still alive in Macau and reveals the harmonious coexistence of different beliefs. %K Ant¨®nio Correia %K Macau %K Religion %K Nature %U http://ler.letras.up.pt/uploads/ficheiros/11310.pdf
