Fatima al-Baydan , qui a fond¨Ś en 2006 le centre   M l Al-Dhahab   (le   Baton de Kohl  ) pour la pr¨Śservation du patrimoine oral de la m¨¨re et de lĄŻenfant, a men¨Ś pendant une dizaine dĄŻann¨Śes un travail exceptionnel de collecte de contes, dans plusieurs gouvernorats du pays. LĄŻatelier de traduction de lĄŻ¨Ścole normale sup¨Śrieure a rassembl¨Ś cinq contes brefs, issus de diverses r¨Śgions, ayant tous pour personnages principaux des animaux. Animal Tales from YemenThe oral tales of Yemen are a very rich, but fragile heritage. They raise an increasing interest among the researchers and translators, in Yemen and abroad. Fatima al-Baydan , who created in 2006 the M l al-Dhahab (  the Kohl stick  ) for the preservation of the oral litterature of the children and mothers, gathered an outstanding amount of tales in many governorates. The Ecole Normal Sup¨Śrieure tranlation workshop (Paris) gathered five tales from various regions, which feature animals as main characters.
