%X Introduction: Enteric fever is a common diagnosis in febrile patients admitting to the hospital of Nepal. The treatment of enteric fever, though looks straightforward, in recent times has been complicated by emerging resistance to various antibiotics including fluoroquinolones and cephalosporins.
