%0 Journal Article %T MolecularcharacterizationofanIL-1βgenefromthelargeyellowcroaker(Larimichthyscrocea)anditseffectonfishdefenseagainstVibrioalginolyticusinfection %A Jun WU %A Yu-Hong SHI %A Xue-Heng ZHANG %A Chang-Hong LI %A Ming-Yun LI %A Jiong CHEN %J 动物学研究 %P 133-141 %D 2015 %X Interleukin1β(IL-1β),thefirstinterleukintobecharacterized,playsakeyroleinregulatingtheimmuneresponse.Inthisstudy,wedeterminedthecDNAandgenomicDNAsequencesoftheIL-1βgenefromthelargeyellowcroaker,Larimichthyscrocea.PhylogeneticanalysisindicatedthattheIL-1β(LcIL-1β)genewasmostcloselyrelatedtothatofEuropeanseabass(Dicentrarchuslabrax),sharing67.8%aminoacididentity.Inhealthylargeyellowcroaker,LcIL-1βtranscriptionwasdetectedinalltestedtissues,withthehighestlevelfoundintheheadkidney.UponVibrioalginolyticusinfection,LcIL-1βtranscriptioninalltestedtissueswassignificantlyupregulated.IntraperitonealinjectionofrecombinantLcIL-1β(rLcIL-1β)improvedthesurvivalrateandreducedthetissuebacterialloadafterV.alginolyticusinfection.Inaddition,rLcIL-1βinducedmonocytes/macrophages(MO/MΦ)chemotaxisandincreasedphagocytosisandbactericidalactivityinvitro.TheseresultssuggestthatLcIL-1βplaysanimportantroleinthelargeyellowcroakerimmuneresponseagainstV.alginolyticus. %K Interleukin1&beta %K Largeyellowcroaker %K Survivalrate %K Vibrioalginolyticus %K Monocytes/macrophages %U http://www.zoores.ac.cn/CN/abstract/abstract3639.shtml
