The change that can occur in any of the human-made parts may cause the individual to be affected physically, psychologically and socially. For centuries, being physically healthy and beauty for the person has become quite important. Individuals are resorting to plastic-reconstructive surgery units to be pleased with their appearance and to reshape broken body parts. It is important to assess the patients who come for this purpose psychologically and to support them before, during and after surgery. Any attempt that threatens the integrity of the body can create a problem in the individual's perception of the body. For this reason, it is one of the most important factors that nurses can establish a trusting relationship with the patient and enable the individual to express himself comfortably.
