%X The present work aims to show the new and modern which Bogorov brings to the Bulgarian Revival life. I consider only some of his periodicals in which the author, based on European achievements in this period and taking into account Bulgarian traditional models gives recipes for development of a modern Bulgarian nation. I have used mainly the autobiography of the revival ˇ°My life, described by meˇ± as well as his police file from Odessa, published by Assen Georgiev , the stream of the newspaper ˇ°Bulgarian Eagleˇ±, the journal ˇ°Journal of Science, Craft and Tradeˇ± and etc. Dr. Ivan Bogorov is known as a scribe, a publicist, a public figure, a fighter for the purity of Bulgarian language, a connoisseur of the cultural heritage. But first of all he is a journalist, the founder of the first Bulgarian informational newspaper ˇ°Bulgarian Eagleˇ±. He first understands the necessity of such a powerful weapon in the struggle for national awareness as the newspaper and lends himself to journalistic activity with his inherent fiery, unique enthusiasm, romance and optimism. Bogorov published 14 different newspapers and magazines. He worked in 4 other newspapers. He wrote, translated and published 34 different books, brochures and newspapers. This work comes from the hand and heart of the idealist and patriot Dr. Ivan Bogorov
