The joints most commonly affected are the hip and knee. The progression of osteoarthritis results in the breakdown of tissues and cartilage and the loss of joint function, causing symptoms such as pain, stiffness, reduced physical function, and limited movement. Although there is no cure for osteoarthritis, treatment options are available to manage symptoms and optimize quality of life. Clinical guidelines recommend education, exercise, and weight loss (when necessary) as the first line of treatment %U https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6235070/
