In vitro antifilarial assay has been carried out against adult filarial parasite Setaria cervi worms by both worm motility and MTT reduction assays. Levels of oxidative stress parameters MDA, carbonyl content and nitric oxide levels have been detected. The isolated compound exhibited significant antifilarial activity in dose dependent manner. The active compound has been chemically characterized and identified as 4,5-diethyl-3กไ-ethoxy-pyro-flavone %K Setaria cervi %K Vitex negundo L. %K Flavonoid %K Antifilarial effect %U https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6011809/
