In particular, the study explores the extent to which pre-service teachers at BTC are equipped with the appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes to implement these standards. Mixed research methods were employed to conduct this study. On one hand the findings revealed that the results were mixed regarding the pre-service teachers¡¯ perceptions of readiness to teach in relation to content knowledge, dealing with parents, school administration and MoE. On the other hand, they indicate that pre-service teachers show strong agreement with the effectiveness of the BTC¡¯s teacher education program in preparing them to implement the Teachers' Standards (Mean= 4.10, SD = 0.85) %U http://www.sciepub.com/EDUCATION/abstract/10302
