%X Childhood Obesity is a major problem worldwide. In Saudi Arabia the childhood obesity has an upward trend compared with past tow decade. Appropriate activity engagement of children and adolescent in sports and physical activity is a fundamental goal of obesity prevention. This Review highlights the lack of current evidence of physical inactivity and its relation with high prevalence of obesity among Saudi children. Thus, recommendations to attempt strategies and policies to enhance the physical activity level in the society of Saudi Arabia is discussed
