The modified sensor was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The effect of frequency, amplitude, pH, solvent, loading of modifier and scan rate on voltammetric response of both drugs was studied to select the optimum experimental conditions. The fabricated sensor exhibited two well defined oxidation peaks at 0.9 and 1.4 V for ATN and LOS respectively in BR buffer pH 10.0. Limit of detection (LOD) for ATN 0.09 ¦ÌM and LOS 0.07 ¦ÌM and limit of quantification (LOQ) for ATN 0.26 ¦ÌM and LOS 0.21 ¦ÌM could be achieved at the fabricated sensor. ATN and LOS could be quantified in pharmaceutical formulation and spiked human serum sample at the developed sensor.
