There are many conditions such as idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, trauma (accidental or induced), factors deficiencies, infections (Epstein Barr virus or bacterial), tumours (malignant melanoma or haemangioma), conjunctival telangiectasia, Rendu-Oslar-Weber disease related to haemolacria. But idiopathic haemolacria may occur in some cases.
