%X In this paper, mechanical properties of the mechanical systems that have certain symmetries are determined. Similar problems occur frequently in engineering applications and civil engineering where many mechanical systems used in these areas exhibit symmetrical properties resulting from the design process, fabrication reasons, simplicity, cost, or logistics. The paper aims to determine the properties of the eigenvalues and the eigenmodes of transverse vibrations in a mechanical system with beams where two of the three beams were identical. The determination of these properties allows us to reduce the calculus effort and the computation time and, in addition, increases the accuracy of the results
