%X Although some dubbed 2018 ¡°The Year of the Teacher,¡± touting large numbers of teacher candidates running for office, the results of November¡¯s elections were more mixed. Although voters expressed support for education in the PDK Poll, that support did not consistently translate into victory for teacher candidates or funding initiatives.
