A Crossover Model of Psychological Contract Breach %A Huai-Liang Liang %J Psychological Reports %@ 1558-691X %D 2019 %R 10.1177/0033294117750630 %X Based on affective events theory and the crossover model, this study examines the effect of psychological contract breach on employee dysfunctional behavior and partner family undermining and explores the crossover effect of employee dysfunctional behavior on partner family undermining in work¨Cfamily issues. This study collected 370 employee¨Cpartner dyads (277 male employees, 93 female employees, M age£¿=£¿43.59 years) from a large manufacturing organization. The results of this study support the conception that employees' psychological contract breach results in frustration in the workplace. In addition, mediation analysis results reveal that psychological contract breach relates to employee dysfunctional behavior in the workplace. The findings show that partners' psychological strain mediates the relationship between employee dysfunctional behavior and partner family undermining.
