A set of 10 selected variables, amended from Rothman, was employed in analyzing the community workers¡¯ experiences of community capacity building for the 26 communities affected by Typhoon Morakot. Four model prototypes were inducted as ¡®service and demonstrate¡¯, ¡®training and tutoring¡¯, ¡®stimulating and encouraging¡¯, and ¡®consensus action¡¯.
