The authors, both M¨¦tis academics from the country now called Canada, discuss the individual journey they each took in using M¨¦tissage for their doctoral research studies. Both the possibilities and limitations inherent in this research framework are outlined. Although M¨¦tissage is described in the context of the Canadian M¨¦tis experience, recommendations are also given for how this theory can be used by both other Indigenous researchers and non-Indigenous researchers %K Indigenous %K research %K M¨¦tissage %K M¨¦tis %U https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/1177180119837755
