%X Sa£¿etak The diplomatic conflict between Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union in 1948 had not only political, economic, social consequences but also a great influence on culture and art. After the split between Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union, the latter tried to portray Tito as the enemy of the Soviet people. The anti-Yugoslav propaganda used political cartoons that were mostly published in Krokodil (lit. the crocodile), a satirical magazine that succeeded in leaving a trace in the Soviet general public
