%0 Journal Article %T ESP REFRESHER COURSES: REFLECTING ON OUR TEACHING PRACTICES %A Bakas£¿un %A Ana %A Bojc£¿ic£¿ %A Ivana %A Marus£¿ic£¿ %A Melanija %J - %D 2017 %X Sa£¿etak Addressing wider issues related to English for specific purposes (ESP) refresher courses, the authors share insights regarding their practical involvement in course development and organisation. Since they have benefited from analysing their teaching practices, they draw on their developmental curve in teaching and syllabus design as well as on the relevant literature on syllabus design in order to offer assistance to other teachers by sparing them, to some degree, the possible stress involved in designing and delivering ESP refresher courses. In laying out the prominent factors they identified in their teaching, they include practical information on how to approach the situation: what to anticipate or avoid so as to attempt to create an engaging teaching and learning experience.
