%0 Journal Article %T Historical and Ecclesiastical View on the Union in Croatia in 1611 ¨C Increasing Difficulties, Diminishing Church Confidence %A Iki£ż %A Niko %J - %D 2019 %X Sa£żetak In 2011, the Eparchy of Kri£żevci celebrated its 400th anniversary. Conceived in Mar£ża near £żazma in extremely complex historical and ecclesiastical circumstances, the Eparchy has painstakingly lived out her birth and childhood, exposed to strong winds of challenge and denial, both from the outside and from the inside. The first part of this article briefly outlines the difficulties faced during its establishment at the beginning of the 17th century, the growth in the mid-17th century and the survival at the end of the 17th century.
