This paper analyzes the source of chlorine in fly ash, and explores the effect of chlorine in the practical application of fly ash and the necessity of dechlorinating. Six common dechlorinating methods are reviewed: precipitation method, evaporation-enrichment method, electric absorption method, electrolysis, solution extraction and ion exchange method.
