%T PD1/PDL-1 Inhibitors: Emerging Hope for Bladder Cancer

%X Advanced bladder cancer (BC) has a poor prognosis with historically limited therapeutic options. Immunotherapy has emerged as a viable option for patients with advanced bladder cancer in the second line setting. Immune check point inhibitors have shown promising results in management of this disease. In this review we will discuss the recently evolving role of anti PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors (programmed cell death protein-1 and programmed death ligand-1) for managing this disease.
