%0 Journal Article %T Towards a Meta-Model for Real-Time Embedded Systems %J - %D 2017 %X Embedded real-time systems are combinations of hardware and software fully integrated into the systems they control. Due to the continuous technological evolution in the hardware and software and the diversity of the targeted areas of application, these systems have become omnipresent in our professional and personal lives. Thus, various approaches based on model driven engineering (MDE) have been proposed in order to control the inefficiency of the methods of their current design. Each of these approaches has its own meta-model and its corresponding UML profile, specialized or adapted to a particular category of these systems. Indeed, in this paper we will propose a generic meta-model, taking advantage of a large number of these meta-models, which can be adapted to the majority of embedded real-time systems. %K Real-Time Embedded System %K MDE %K Meta-Model %U http://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/journal/paperinfo?journalid=236&doi=10.11648/j.ajesa.20170506.13
