SjogrenĄ¯s syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus and autoimmune hepatitis are the most common autoimmune causes of distal RTA. We are reporting a case of distal renal tubular acidosis associated with mixed connective tissue disease and hypothyroidism presenting as recurrent hypokalemic paralysis.
