However, the role of CHBP in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and related mechanisms are not studied yet. In this study, we found in a murine AMI model that the administration of CHBP could ameliorate cardiac injury, increase the survival rate, inhibit cardiomyocyte apoptosis, improve cardiac function and remodeling, and reduce the expression of inflammatory cytokines in the serum and kidney tissue both at 24£¿h and 8 weeks following AMI.
