%X RESUMEN: El paisaje como met¨¢fora en San Manuel Bueno, m¨¢rtir encierra la posibilidad de un gran n¨²mero de interpretaciones. El sentido de los distintos elementos se matiza, hasta se modifica seg¨²n los diferentes niveles narrativos. De este modo forman un sistema complejo y expresan la totalidad de la existencia. El an¨¢lisis de la met¨¢fora org¨¢nica del paisaje nos permite echar un vistazo a la b¨²squeda ¨ªntima del p¨¢rroco. Y, siendo la obra sint¨¦tica de Miguel de Unamuno, a trav¨¦s del an¨¢lisis po¨¦tico-teol¨®gico tambi¨¦n podemos ver el ideario existencialista del autor. ABSTRACT: In San Manuel Bueno, m¨¢rtir the use of the landscape as a metaphor offers us a broad range of possible interpretations. The meaning of each element is different depending on the respective level of the narrative. In this way the elements form a complex reality expressing the totality of existence. The analysis of the organic metaphor of the landscape permits the reader to glance at the vicar's intimate search. Nevertheless, through the poetic-theological analysis, the reader can take a step towards a deeper understanding of the existentialist author
