ABSTRACT: Starting with the travel experience in the life and works of Unamuno, I analize the different rehaznos 〞esthetic, sensual, emotive, physical, intellectual and political〞 that led the autor to walk and travel around certain places of Spain. Theseexercices (as he called them), practiced since he was a young man in his native land, taught him how to transform the sentimental experience in a sensual one, the love in desire, which was the first step for action, since Unamuno*s andanzas have both a esthetical and a political significance. According to this, I point out and describe the presence and influence of the places/spaces visited and felt by Unamuno, so that they conform a peculiar and permanent microcosmos within his Works, paying attention and analyzing the most significant ones, not always present in the author*s studies 〞mountain, peak, top, flatness, mountain range or waste land〞, and at the same time I review their importance in Unamuno*s Thought, specially in concpts such as Asunci車n, Ascensi車n, In-tracci車n orIn-versi車n %U http://campus.usal.es/~revistas_trabajo/index.php/0210-749X/article/view/1265
