One of these is to get information by screen reading. Nowadays, individuals are often confronted with reading on the screen. They are the teachers who guide the educational process. Teachers will guide students in the knowledge and most importantly in reaching the right information. For this reason, it is important that teachers can access information from different sources. In this research, it was aimed to determine the perceptions of Turkish teacher candidates who are future teachers on the concept of reading from the screen. Determining teacher candidates' perceptions of reading from the screen will help them elucidate their thoughts on access to information from different sources. For this reason, teacher candidates are asked to create metaphors for reading on the screen and explain why they prefer to read on paper or on the screen.
