%X Gelibolulu Mustafa ¡®£¿l£¿, who is one of the most eminent figures of the Ottoman history writing, has written many books. The history works of Mustafa ¡®£¿l£¿¡¯s works in the field of history, have become one of most important sources of researches who interested in the science of history due to his closely witnessed the events of his age in person thanks to his important missions in the government. Mirat¨¹¡¯l Avalim written by Gelibolulu Mustafa ¡®£¿l£¿ is a short work in which the beings and events before Adam are described. The reason why Mirat¨¹¡¯l Avalim is dealt with in this study although there are many copies of the work in the libraries both in Turkey and other countries was justified by comparing it with the handwritten manuscript with the archive number 06 Mil Yz B 389 in the National Library and archive number Hac£¿mahmutefendi 4396 in the S¨¹leymaniye Manuscripts Library revealing the differences between the three copies in the footnotes
