%0 Journal Article %T HEGEL'S INFLUENCE ON WOODROW WILSON'S THOUGHTS: INTRODUCTION OF ORGANIC STATE NOTION TO USA %A Mustafa Cem O£¿UZ %J - %D 2018 %X When Woodrow Wilson, one of the most prominent thinkers of first decade of 20th century, has blamed the USA¡¯s founding philosophy for failure to deal with the social and political problems that arise from industrial and urban issues, he began to search a new philosophical and political system to overcome these defects. In this research he noticed that German historicism and German state theory was offering a vigorous executive power to manage the industrial life. Hegel, outstanding member of German historicism, has been known in American academies and had a profound influence on these circles.
