%X Shah Ismail; in addition to being shah of the Safev£¿ Government and sheikh of the Safeviyye dervish order, is a divan poet. His pen name is Hatay£¿ in poems. He lived in the end of the 15. century and in the beginning of the 16. century in Azerbaijan area. His poems¡¯ themes are these: love for Allah ¨C Muhammed ¨C Ali, love for a darling, Ca¡¯fer£¿ sect, Kerbela event, Twelve imams, beliefs of the dervish order, unity of the existence. Shia ideology is laying the base for some Hatay£¿¡¯s poems. For this resason, Hatay£¿¡¯s poems have propagandist quality besides aesthetic quality. In this article, our aim is indicate to Hatay£¿¡¯s propagandist poems. We want to show that: How Hatay£¿ use his poems for his religious and political ideas
