The study included a simple random sample of 492 adolescent students-245 girls and 247 boys - attending ninth, tenth, eleventh and twefth grades, to three different high schools that are obligated to ministry of national education in Hatay and Adana between 2017 and 2018 education years. The construct validity of the scale was analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). As a result of CFA, it was observed that the four-factor structure produced good fit values. Correlation values between the factors ranged from .12 to .59. In order to test the criterion validity of the scale, the relationship between the Brief Symptom Inventory Depression Sub-dimension and Young Internet Addiction Test Short Form was examined. A significant positive correlation was found between GPIUS 2 and internet addiction and depression. The Cronbanch Alpha internal consistency coefficient of the subscales ranged from .51 to .83, while the Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient for the whole scale was .85. As a result, it is seen that GPIUS 2 is a valid and reliable scale that can be used on high school students in order to determine the trend towards problematic internet use %K Problemli internet kullan£¿m£¿ %K £¿nternet ba£¿£¿ml£¿l£¿£¿£¿ %K £¿l£¿ek uyarlama %K Ge£¿erlilik %K G¨¹venirlik %U http://dergipark.org.tr/opus/issue/44324/529016
