%X The oldest boat in the world that has never been sunk is known as ¡°Historical Galley¡± and exhibited in the Naval Museum of Turkey. This boat has a great importance in the history of world navigation. Despite its importance, it is not well known by the masses. Of course, there is no excuse for not having a lot of navigation history researches. By spending large budgets, a special environment has been prepared for this boat. The historical importance of the Galley is widely known by related institutions but it is not so popular with the public. This study discusses and evaluates the documented information and literature about the boat that has been gathered throughout the years
