%0 Journal Article %T AIR PASSENGER RIGHTS IN TURKISH LAW %J - %D 2018 %X Pursuant to ongoing negotiations between Turkey and European Union (EU) for full membership, several legal arrangements have been made for the purpose of compliance of Turkish Law with European Union (International) Law. The main codes, notably Turkish Code of Obligations, Turkish Commercial Code (TCC) and Code of Civil Procedure, have been changed. Air passenger rights have been also regulated by the Regulation on Air Passenger Rights (SHY - Yolcu) on the basis of the Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 of the European Union (AB T¨¹z¨¹£¿¨¹). Although it has been a long time since the Regulation entered into force, this issue has not been adequately examined in Turkish doctrine.
