%X As the studies of the semantic world/meaning of Ottoman poetry have increased, it is observed that the original expressions, meanings and metaphors that have been behind the veil for various reasons have been re-discovered again. Unfortunately, some concepts which have certain meaning in the period in which it was used to, do not anything to the reader of today. It is observed that indefinite concept of the poem has been revealed, and the meaning world of poetry has become clear as it goes to the background, source and usage areas of interesting expressions that are used by Divan poets and often surprise us. On the occasion of this study we will try to evaluate the meanings gained by expression of neyzen glance, which is rarely seen in Divan poetry, upon the chosen couplets
