Ectopic endometrium is mostly seen in ovaries, douglas cavity, sacrouterin ligaments, pelvic peritoneum, rectovaginal septum and cervix. Endometriosis localized in the rectus abdominis muscle is very rare. Endometrioma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of masses in the anterior abdominal wall of reproductive age women, especially if there is a history of surgical intervention and the pain increases with the menstrual cycle. These masses frequently interfere with incisional hernias and patients often refer to general surgeons. Preoperative diagnosis is difficult. Inthis study, we want to present a case of endometrioma localized in the rectus abdominis muscle and to discuss the diagnosis and treatment plan in the light of the current literature. Our aim is to emphasize the importance of routine research consisting of anamnesis and physical examination in the process leading to diagnosis %K Endometriozis %K rektus abdominis %U http://dergipark.org.tr/ktah/issue/47242/593870
