A well-conducted job analysis provides the firm with all the information needed for a particular job (Meredith, 2005). According to Mathis and Jackson (1997), job description is related with; tasks, responsibilities and duties of a job and it identifies; what is done, why it is done, where it is done, and how it is done. Job description, one of the core products of job analysis, provides all the necessary information for a position in human resources processes. Companies in which maritime busines administration graduates mostly employed are freight forwarders.
