%0 Journal Article %T ¡°OVERSHARING¡±, ¡°PRESENTATION OF SELF¡± AND CONSUMPTION OF PRIVACY BY SOCIAL NETWORK USERS %A And Alg¨¹l %J - %D 2018 %X The fact that Social Media users do not pay attention to the distinction between sharing and ¡°oversharing¡± and the new way of communication based on seeing, showing, getting likes, and following create the question of what users¡¯ awareness of privacy is. Our research aims to reveal what the perception of privacy by users of the social sharing network is in the context of the concept of ¡°the presentation of self¡± by Erving Goffman and the concept of ¡°oversharing¡± by Hal Niedzviecki according to the approach to uses and effects. In April 2015, a questionnaire study was carried out, with 727 participants.
