Lactic acid bacteria are often used as probiotics in aquaculture due to non-pathogenic, competition with harmful bacteria through the production of antimicrobial agents, colonization to the digestive tract, and positive effects on growth with increase of digestive enzymes (amylase, lipase, protease) activities in the intestine. .In this review, the studies investigating of effects of different lactic acid bacterial strains on the growth performance of fish are discussed. When studies were evaluated, in general, Streptococcus, Lactobacillus, Lactococcus and Enterococcus strains were found to have positive effects on fish growth performance, however there is no positive effect on the growth of Pediococcus acidilactic strai %K laktik asit bakterileri %K su ¨¹r¨¹nleri yeti£¿tiricili£¿i %U http://dergipark.org.tr/egirdir/issue/36733/406328
