%0 Journal Article %T Empathetic Development Models %A Mustafa Ak£¿n %J - %D 2019 %X In this article, empathy building, empathy map, experience map and sketching models are shown in innovation processes. Innovation cannot be developed in projects without getting empathy. Unwanted product lead a serious time and material resources exhaution. The innovative answer to the question of what the user wants starts from the point of empathy. The internalization of the user inspires the innovative solution. The user is considered to be a whole with his surroundings. An empathy map is created by understanding what users think, hear, do, see and feel. It is especially important to understand the 5 sensory organs and the motivation behind the activity. The experience map covers five experiences: physical, cognitive, social, cultural, emotional. The most important experience is emotional due to the effectiveness in decision making processes. During the interviews, questions are set to fill the gaps in these empathy and experience maps. To understand the user's expectations, drawing a sketch is necessary. Sketch is to pour the user's needs and desires on paper. The purpose is to get feedback, not put out a product / service that can be used.
