%0 Journal Article %T DETERMINATION OF THE CHANGES IN THE SURFACE QUALITY PROPERTIES OF THE WEATHER£¿NG TEST APPLIED TO THE HEAT TREATED MDF BOARDS %A Ferhat £¿ZDEM£¿R %J - %D 2018 %X The purpose of this study will be to investigate the effects of aging test on the hardness and surface roughness of the Medium Density Fiberboards (MDF) subjected to heat treatment for a certain temperature and time. MDF boards were heat treated at 150, 170 and 190 oC for 15, 30 and 45 minutes, respectively. Then, the boards were subjected to a 30-day aging test. The aging test was carried out in a UV aging cabinet depending on temperature and relative humidity. It has been determined that the surface roughness parameters increase over time in the aging test.
